Two juniors and a sophomore were elected 1954-55 Glee club officers, retiring president Francis Booth announced yesterday.
John Steinberg '55 of Eliot House will succeed Booth as president, while Warren Pylie '55 of Kirkland was elected vice-president, and Paul Sperry '55 of Kirkland House, secretary.
The new officers will assist with the Glee Club's historic western tour this summer. Beginning on June 20, 50 members--25 from Harvard and an equal number from the Radcliffe Choral Society--will travel through the Midwest and Far West, ending their excursion with a concert at Tangleweed on July 10.
The group plans spots in Buffalo, Kansas City, Denver, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Nashville, Louisville, and Cleveland. In all the Glee Club will sing in 14 cities.
During the tour G. Wallace Woodworth '24 will be celebrating his 20th year as the club's conductor.
