The freshman tennis team lost only one set yesterday in defeating St. Mark's 9 to 0. The victory was the squad's sixth straight.
First singles man, Steve Gottlieb, had to play three sets, but the remaining five players, Ben Heckscher, Cal Place, Doug Gardner, Barry Boehm, and Dave Terris, all won easily.
In the doubles, the teams of Heckscher-Place, Boehm-Gardner, and Terris-Peter Banks all won in straight sets. The only due to be extended at all was the Terris-Banks team which was carried to 8-6 in the second set.
