Eli Tennis Team Wins N. E. Intercollegiates

Yale grabbed all four semi-finals berths in the singles and both positions in the doubles finals before rain stopped the New England Tennis Intercollegiates at Hanover, N.H., yesterday.

The Crimson's Ham Gravem and Brooks Harris advanced to the semi-finals of the doubles before being eliminated in three sets by Bill Cranston and Al Englander of Yale. In the singles, Harris lost in the quarterfinals to Englander. Third round losers for the varsity were Gravem and Mike Levinson. Dan Mayers was eliminated in the second round Friday.

In freshman tennis over the weekend. Coach Corey Wynn's B team defeated Nichols Junior College, 7 to 0, and was leading Tabor Academy, 3 to 0, before being rained out.
