The Crimson rugby team achieved an upset victory over the Bermuda Athletic Association, 14 to 6, here, yesterday, on the House football field.
Playing a sparkling game, Woody Simpson led the varsity in the fray scoring two tries and one conversion, good for eight points. Larry Boies scored another, and Bill Frate added to the Crimson's edge by kicking a three-point field goal.
The Bermudans, visiting the United States for the first time in recent years, put up a good fight all the way, tallying on a try by Bill Lusher and a field goal by John Cordon. The B.A.A. team is largely composed of the pick of the Island's rugby players.
