Eliot's first and second crews swept to the House rowing championships on the Charles River Basin yesterday afternoon.
The Elephant first boat, stroked by senior Ned Davis, shot to a three quarter length lead over Leverett and held it for the rest of the race. Winthrop trailed two lengths off the pace, with Lowell fourth and Dunster fifth. Winning time was 5.43 over the mile course.
In the second race, the Eliot crew, stroked by junior Walter Cabot, defeated Dunster and Leverett.
