A thoroughly inconsistent varsity golf squad can prove how good it really is by defeating Boston College this afternoon at the Commonwealth Country Club.

After finishing second to Yale, however, in the Eastern Intercollegiates at Dartmouth last weekend, the Eagles are favored in the match, a tune-up for the New England Intercollegiate Championships at nearby Oakley Country Club next weekend.

The usual lineup will start for the varsity today with Ted Cooney at number one, Bill McAllister number two, Jim Jones three, Bruce Thurmond four, Captain Jack Brophy five, Doug Boyd six, and Kent Brown seven.
