While the McCarthy-Army controversy continues to titillate TV viewers, local audiences will have a chance tomorrow night to see one of the Senator's earlier imbroglios. The management of the Brattle Theatre, in cooperation with the CRIMSON, will show the kinescope of Edward R. Murrow's documented charges against McCarthy, the Senator's answer, and Murrow's final replay.
The programs, broadcast last month on television, were not originally shown in the Boston area. The film is being flown from New York and will be presented three times Wednesday evening in New Lecture Hall at 7:00, 8:15, and 9:30 p.m.
The showings will be free of charge and open to the public.
