Yale Wins Rugby Test, Takes Lead in Union

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Yale's rugby team defeated the Crimson varsity 5 to 0, to take first place in the Eastern Rugby Union, Saturday, in a rain-slowed game at New Haven.

The Elis scored a try and then converted for a five-point lead within the first three minutes of play. The Crimson struggled desperately deep in Blue territory, but could not match the Elis, whose lineup consisted almost entirely of first-string varsity football players.

Yale's record thus becomes 2-1 in League competition, while the Crimson drops to a 2-2 standing.
