Golf Team to Seek Revenge Today After Amherst Upset

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The varsity golf team is looking for revenge this afternoon when it plays Brown at Dedham Country Club, after losing to Amherst, 4 to 3, in the rain Tuesday afternoon.

Ted Cooney, Bill McAllister, Jim Jones, and Bruce Thurmond will start in the top four positions this afternoon, but Coach Josh Williams may change the playing order of the next three men on his team.

Captain Jack Brophy, Pete Malkin, and Doug Boyd, who have been starting at fifth, sixth, and seventh positions respectively, played a challenge match yesterday afternoon to determine in what order they will play in future matches.

Tonight the golfers leave for Hanover, where they play Dartmouth Saturday.
