Rain Cancels Action In Baseball, Tennis

Three athletic contests including the varsity baseball team's game at Boston College and the freshman nine's at Boston University were rained out yesterday.

Also postponed was the varsity tennis match with M.I.T., which will be played instead at 2 p.m. today on the Soldiers Field courts. In other home tennis action this afternoon, the freshman B squad will take on Nichols Junior College at 3:45.

The varsity baseball contest with B.C. has not been re-scheduled as yet, and there is the possibility that date conflicts will prevent a meeting between the two teams this year. The Yardlings will make up their game at B.U. next week.
