Sailors from the College and M.I.T. will race on the Charles today for the annual Harvard-Tech trophy.

Six boats representing each school will take part in the regatta at the M.I.T Sailing Pavilion. The varsity, which won the trophy last year, is counting on its team experience defeat the Engineer squad, which presumably has the better sailors.

Individual skippers for the Crimson will be Tim Brown, Fred Hoppin, Jim Nathanson, and Phil Tierney. Art Gossard with John Reed, and Nick Baker with A. C. Langworthy, will compete as co-skippers.

Other varsity races this weekend include the Sharpe Trophy meet at Providence tomorrow, where the Crimson will compete against seven other colleges, and the Oberg race at M.I.T. Monday against B.U., B.C., Northeastern,Tufts, and M.I.T.
