Dudley came out on top as the new inter-House hockey champion, a compilation of the records released by Adolph W. Samborski '25, Director of Intramural Athletics, showed yesterday.
Losing one game and tieing one while scoring 12 wins for 25 points, the Dragons handily outdistanced runner-up Winthrop, which compiled a league record of nine wins, four ties, and one loss for 20 points. The Paritans, however, barely succeeded in beating out Dunster (8-3-3) and Eliot (9-4-1) for second, as both Houses compiled an identical 19 points.
With ten points each and matching (5-9) season totals, Adams and Leverett followed. Kirkland (3-10-1) was next to last with seven points, and the cellar position went to Lowell, which won only a single victory in 14 games.
Dudley will play the Yale inter-House champion at New Haven Wednesday, March 24, to decide the intramural title. As yet no House victor has emerged in the Eli tourney.
