Varsity Fencing Team Finishes Fourteenth in Tourney at NYU

Edo Marion's varsity fencing team placed fourteenth in the Intercollegiate Fencing Competition Friday and Saturday at New York University.

The Crimson, with a total of 27 points, finished well behind Columbia, who won the meet with 77 points, Navy, who placed second with 65 points, and Yale, third with 64 points.

High scores for the varsity were Bill Pierskalla, who won six of 11 bouts in the epee division, Cliff Thompson, who took four out of 11 in the foil event, and Dave Kenney, who captured four out of 11 in the sabre matches.
