Joseph W. Bartlett '55, of Winthrop House and Dedham, was yesterday named varsity hockey manager for the 1954-55 season. He served this past season as assistant manager.
Bartlett succeeds Robert H. Weiss '54, of Winthrop House and Cambridge, where Arthur Sigal of the Boston Traveler named yesterday as the Pentagonal League "Manager of the Year"
Also receiving managerial posts were Daniel Pierce '56, of Winthrop House and Milton, and Thomas E. Ingram '56, of Eliot House and Lake Forest, III. Pierce will serve as assistant manager, while Ingram will hold the post of associate manager.
David Thibedean '57 of Strauss Hall and Dedham won the recently completed freshman competition, and will be sophomore manager.
