Houses Group May Sumbit Ideas on Weekend to Key

Chairmen of the seven House committees will meet sometime next week to discuss proposed changes in the All-College Weekend.

If the House committee chairmen agree to proposals to improve the weekend, they will submit these recommendations to the Crimson Key Society, which sponsors the Weekend.

Any new proposals may not take effect this year because the Crimson Key has already formulated many of the plans for the '54 Weekend, which will be held April 23 to 25. The only regatta on the Charles this year is April 24, against M.I.T. and Boston University.

The House committee chairmen are meeting to try to work out more satisfactory plans for future Weekends with the Key. Eliot House committee chairman Daniel Steiner '54 said, "There is no friction between the Key and the House committee representatives. We are trying to iron out unsatisfactory arrangements."

High Costs and Publicity

In the past, many students have opposed the Weekend because of the high costs involved and the Crimson Key's forceful publicity.
