The Yardling hockey team will meet its strongest high school opponent of the season when it faces the defending New England High School champion, Malden Catholic High School, this afternoon on the new rink.
Handicapped so far this season by lack of early-period aggressiveness, the Yardlings will find trouble this afternoon if the allow the sharp-shooting Malden sextet to outplay them in the first and second periods. Malden's record this season is ten wins and one tie, and the championship of the Eastern Mass League.
Bill White will center the Crimson's first line with Captain Frederick Nicholas on his right wing and Tucker Crowley on his left. Chuck Papalia and Bob Hoffman will be at defense with either Jimmy Bailey or Charlie Steedman in the goal.
