Crimson Fencers Edge Trinity, 14-13, in Blockhouse Saturday

Edo Marion's fencers sliced it thin Saturday in the Blockhouse, nosing out Trinity College, 14 to 13. The Crimson took the foil event, 5 to 4; the sabre, 6 to 3; and dropped the epee, 6 to 3. High scorer was sabreur Dave Kenney, who won all three of his bouts.

The fencing club of the University of Connecticut handed the freshmen a 16 to 11 defeat Saturday, following the varsity match. The Yardlings managed to come back strong in the epee, winning 6 to 3, after losing foil and sabre, 6 to 3 and 7 to 2, respectively.
