Over 60 Yardlings Participate In Practice of Hockey League

The newly-organized freshman hockey league held its first practice session last Tuesday with a turnout of over 60 Yardling skaters.

Men from nine different dormitories who had signed a special petition to organize the informal league held three practice games during their first hours on the new rink. In the contests, Wigglesworth East defeated Holworthy and Mower, 4 to 3, Matthews downed Dudley, 3 to 1, and Straus and Lionel shut out Thayer and Weld, 2 to 0.
