The varsity fencing team captured foil, sabre, and epee events hero last night to defeat Boston University, 17 to 10.
Paul Forand led the field in the foil division, beating all three of his opponents and scoring 15 touches with only five against him.
Dave Kenney and Tony Provenzano ranked highest for the Crimson in the sabre matches, each winning their contests 2 to 1.
In the epee division, both Captain Paul Scherer and Bill Pierskalla blanked their opponents in bouts, while out-touching them, 9 to 3 and 9 to 4, respectively.
Final scores in the three events stood: foil, 5 to 4; sabre, 5 to 4; and epee 7 to 2.
The varsity next meets Trinity at the Indoor Athletic Building on Saturday.
