Wister, Heckscher Eliminated In Gold Racket Squash Meet

Squash Captain Bill Wister and teammate Ben Hockscher were eliminated in the first round of singles matches of the twenty-third Gold Squash Racquet Invitational Tournament at Codarhurst, L.I., Saturday.

Wister lost 15-11, 16-15, 15-11 to national champion Diehl Mateer, who won the tournament in '52 and '53. Hockscher lost to Freguson of Philadelphia, 15-12, 8-15, 16-13, 12-15, 16-13.
