Three Crimson debaters won special plaques at the conclusion of the Tufts Annual Debating Tournament yesterday.
Dave Brydon '56 was named best negative speaker of the tournament, and George M. Fredrickson '56 and Toby Citrin '56 placed first and second as top affirmative speakers.
Dartmouth won the team plaque this year, edging the Crimson B team of Fredrickson, Citrin, Dick Anderson '56, and Bob O'Neil '56 into second position. Last year Harvard finished third.
Eighteen teams entered the contest, including M.I.T., U. of Vermont, Georgetown, Smith, B.U., Brooklyn College, and Wellesley.
