Phillips Brooks House will expand its International Hospitality Program for bringing foreign students into American homes, Douglas Hunt '55, president of PBH, announced yesterday.
There are over 800 students in the University who do not have a home to go to during vacations. There has been an increased interest among students in having these foreign students visit American homes during the holidays, Hunt said.
PBH and the Foreign Student Center are working together to case the problems of the new student in a strange country. "In future years there will be a greater effort to acquaint the foreign students with the U.S. right after registration in the fall," Hunt declared.
Charles S. LaMonte '56 was appointed Monday as chairman of the International Hospitality Program which is part of the Drive's Program.
