Beginning today for the first time, a resident physician will be available to University students on a day-night basis, Dr. Dana R. Farnsworth, director of the Hygiene Department, announced yesterday.
The physician will be on duty at Still-man Infirmary at all times except during Hygiene Department office hours. Until now, a doctor has been available only from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays at the Hygiene Building.
Charge for consultation at Stillman will be $2. This is $3 loss than the present charge.
If more specialized attention is required at Stillman Farnsworth said, the $2 charge will be waived, and the student will be billed $5 as formerly for calling in an outside specialist.
