The Stadium won't be the only place in Cambridge that is sold out this weekend, as hotel clerks, dance chairmen, and liquor store proprietors are also preparing for the huge crowd that will attend the game.
The Cambridge police force announced yesterday that two tow trucks will remove double parkers in front of the Lampoon Building tomorrow. Parking violators, however, will not receive tickets tomorrow afternoon, due to a special police dispensation.
Boston and Cambridge hotels are already booked to capacity, but Phillips Brooks House listings showed there were still 15 openings in local boarding houses for students wishing to accommodate their dates.
Winthrop House dance chairman Carl Celman said last night tickets to the Saturday night dances were selling at twice the usual rate, and that the 1200 couple capacity of the six Houses would be sufficient for University students and visiting Yale people.
