The varsity's starting left end, Bob Cochran, won a place on the Eastern Intercollegiate Football Association's eighth weekly "Unsung Hero" list published Sunday. Cochran was one of 11 eastern players cited for their outstanding play Saturday.

Cochran prevented a Brown touchdown on the second play of Saturday's tie game when he tackled halfback Ev Pearson on the Crimson 19 after Pearson had broken through for 74 yards. Cochran also caught a pass which set up the varsity's second touchdown.
