Jordan Stresses Pass Defenses in Practice

Dartmouth's Bill Beagle is the second best passer in the Ivy Group so far this season, according to statistics released yesterday.

With a view to stopping Beagle Saturday varsity coach Lloyd Jordan sent his top two teams through another long practice yesterday, again with emphasis on pass defense. They battled each other first and then drilled against the junior varsity.

Back in limited action was wingback Bob Cowles, sidelined for the past three days. He did not scrimmage. Second-team quarterback Joe Conzelman, who suffered a shoulder bruise Monday, watched the workouts in street clothes.
