Two seniors yesterday announced formation of the first direct week-end bus service to Wellesley.
The service operating chartered buses directly to the Wellesley campus from Lowell House, will go into operation this Friday, Clifford L. Alexander '55 and Richard Cooper '55 reported yesterday.
At 6:45 p.m. Friday the first bus will pull out of the Square, Alexander said yesterday. It is scheduled to reach Wellesley at 7:15 p.m., where it will deposit males who wish to spend the evening at the girls' college, and will pick up females who wish to join boys in Cambridge.
The bus will return to Wellesley in time for the Friday night midnight deadline and pick up Harvard men there.
On football Saturdays the service will only operate a single bus back to Wellesley, leaving from Lowell House at 12:10 a.m. On other Saturdays, the same service as on Fridays will operate.
