Adams and Leverett, tied for first place in House football with Dunster, meet on the House field Thursday afternoon, knowing that a loss will drop the loser into second place. The Funsters play Lowell the same day and are expected to win easily.
There are no games scheduled this afternoon. Kirkland will meet Winthrop, and Dudley will play Eliot on Wednesday afternoon. Standings:
Dudley, although not strong in House football, dominates the House touch and soccer picture, leading both leagues.
Winthrop, averaging six touchdowns a game, is tied with the Commuters in House touch. Both clubs play strong opponents soon. The Puritans take on Kirkland (1-1) this afternoon, while Dudley plays Eliot (1-0) tomorrow afternoon.
Leverett provides the chief competition for Dudley in soccer, and will try to take over undisputed possession of first this afternoon against the Commuters. Adams (0-2) plays Eliot (0-2) in the other game this afternoon. Winthrop (0-2) takes on Lowell (1-0) while Kirkland (1-0) engages Dunster (1-1) tomorrow afternoon.
