Yard B Football Team Edges Thayer by 6-0

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A one-yard plunge by fullback Joe Dindorf after two long runs by wingback Larry McQuire gave the Yardling B football team a 6 to 0 victory over Thayer Academy here Saturday in its first game of the season.

The Yardlings, who showed natural signs of inexperience in executing their offensive plays, were hindered greatly by a muddy field. End Joe Herlitty was outstanding on the Crimson defense, which generally looked sharp despite the sloppy field. Alternating fullback Fred Brozer shared offensive honors with McQuire and Dindorf.
