Board Rate Increase Will Improve Meals

The recent raise in board rates is expected to provide better University meals more often in the dining halls this semester, Edward R. Reynolds '15, Administrative Vice-President, stated yesterday.

"Although we've bought only quality food in the past, this recent boost in the board rate will allow the dining halls to serve certain better types of meat more often, for example," Reynolds said.

The University board rate was raised this year from $14 to $14.50 weekly.

Reynolds said that the main reason for the rate increase is the wage raise voted the dining room employees last spring.
