Bob Hoffman slapped in a rebound shot in the last two minutes of the third period yesterday, enabling the freshman hockey team to outscore Natick High School, 3 to 2, in a tense, tight game on the new artificial ice rink.

Natick, third-place team in the Eastern Massachusetts high School League, led throughout most of the game after wing Dick Whalen began the scoring at 7:04 of the first period.

The Crimson matched Natick goal for goal until the middle of the third period. Bob Hoffman then netted the deciding tally at 13:52.
