Apley Wins First Round Title; Patton Scores 17 in 44-37 Win
Apley last night captured the first round championship of the Freshman Intramural Basketball league when it defeated Stoughton, 44-37, at the I.A.B. The play off proceed the varsity's 73-65 victory over Brandeis.
Lou Paton of the winners was high scorer with 17 points. Apley is still undefeated while Stoughton now has lost one. The winner of the second round will meet Apley in March.
