The most beautiful women in America are at the colleges in the 15-mile radius around Boston, Norman Rockwell, Saturday Evening Post cover illustrator, said yesterday.
As examples of these beautiful women, the Boston Herald printed pictures of Wellesley, Simmons, and Radcliffe seniors. Included were Nancy R. Fisher, Radcliffe '52, and Lois L. Ebeling, who was Miss Radcliffe of 1954.
The cover artist rates the Massachusetts college girl the sweetheart of the world because of her natural good looks.
"Hollywood can parade forth its glamor and Paris can boast of its French beauties," Rockwell said, but the most beautiful girls anywhere are these on the Massachusetts campuses."
