Markham Testimony Sent Here

Senator William E. Jenner said yesterday that he has sent to University authorities the latest testimony before the Senate Internal Security subcommittee of Mrs. Helen Deane Markham, assistant professor of Anatomy at the Medical School.

Invoking the First and Fifth Amendments, Mrs. Markham recently refused to answer questions dealing, with the Corporation's statement of May 19 and possible Communist activity. She would not say whether she has denied to university authorities since then that she was a member of the Communist party.
