Varsity sailors will vie with five other teams this afternoon at M.I.T. for the Oberg Trophy and Greater Boston Dinghy Championship.
Over the weekend the team travels down to the Coast Guard Academy to battle for the George Own Trophy, Eastern Ivy League Dinghy Championship.
Today Harvard is rated a Slight favorite over Boston College, Boston University, M.I.T., Northeastern, and Tufts. In the "A" division, Jim Nathanson is skipper and Dean Howells is his crew.
Tim Brown will skipper in the "B" division with David Robbins as crew. George Robertson and Nick Baker Sail in the "C" class. The race was originality scheduled for April 20 but was postponed until today.
The big meet Saturday and Sunday will have a dozen teams competing for the George Owen Trophy. Besides Harvard, the entrains will be Army, Brown, Coast Guard, Cornell, Dartmouth, M.I.T., Navy, Penn, Princeton, Williams, and Yale.
