Sir Gordon Covell, one of the world's foremost authorities on malaria, will deliver the Cutter Lecture on Preventive Medicine at 5 p.m. today at the School of Public Health.
Covell, who now serves as malaria adviser to the British Ministry of Health, will speak on the subject, "Current Research Toward a Global Control of Malaria." Covell was formerly director of the Malaria Institute of India in New Delhi for 11 years prior to 1947.
Next week he will travel to Puerto Rice to deliver a further series of talks.
