Track Men Enter Heps Tomorrow In Yale's Stadium

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Three Bobs--Rittenburg, Twitchell and Curran--have the varsity track team's best chances for a first place at the outdoor Heptagonal meet, tomorrow in New Haven.

Rittenburg won the indoor hurdle Heps title, and either he or Twitchell should win outdoors. No one is quite sure which will do better--Rittenburg had beaten Twitchell consistently until Saturday's meet with Yale, when Twitchell won both the lows and the highs.

But even if he doesn't place in the hurdles, Rittenburg should score somewhere. He might place in the broad jump, or high jump, or on either the Crimson's sprint or mile relay team. If Pete Curran can run, a sprint team of Twitchell, Pete Dow, Herb Collins and Curran will enter, with Rittenburg running on the mile relay team of Al Howe, Jack Richards and Roger Gratwick. Rittenburg is the spare for the sprint quartet.

Besides Curran in the hammer, other possible scorers are Al Howe in the 440--he did 49.1 against Yale last week--Dow in the 100, and Phil Pratt in the discus.
