Blood Collections Set New Record

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Blood donations reached an all time high for one day yesterday, when 483 pints were collected in the P.B.H. blood drive. The previous record at the University was 453 pints in one day.

It also seemed likely that the all-time donation record of 2,116 pints set here in the fall of 1951 would be topped, as the total for the first four days of this week reached 1,795 pints.

Frank made an appeal for all those who had an appointment but didn't show for it to come to Memorial Hall today any time between 11:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. He also said that anyone, regardless of whether or not they had an appointment, could donate today, the last day of the drive.
