McCagg Leads Cambridge Crew To Easy Victory Over Oxford

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Louie McCagg, who stroked the Crimson crew for the past three seasons, last week helped pull England's Cambridge University to an eight length upset victory over Oxford on the Thames.

Two years ago, McCagg stroked the Crimson against Cambridge in a losing battle. This year, pulling a strong sixth oar for his former opponents, he was credited by many British writers with providing the difference between the competing crews.

The contest, won last year by Oxford, was conducted along a 4 1/4 mile course.
