A disqualification in the first round cost the varsity sailing team seven points and first place in the 13 team Boston Dinghy Club Challenge, Saturday on the Charles. George Robertson, sailing in the B division lost seven points, and the Crimson lost to Tufts by three, 177 to 174.

Jim Nathanson sailed in the A division for the varsity, and took second, with 95 points.

The Crimson's previously undefeated freshman team lost to M.I.T. in a dual meet on the Charles. Phil Tierney stood out for the Yardlings, who were edged 3 to 2 by Tech. Gordon Beggs, Fred Hoppin, and Asher Langworthy also sailed for the freshmen.
