Rugby Team Defeats Montreal Team, 6 to 5

A penalty kick by Jim Callahan and one "try" by former Wabash football star Ken Beasley gave the varsity ruggers enough impetus to overcome an early lead and post a 6 to 5 upset victory over Montreal's Westmount team yesterday at M.I.T.

Yesterday's close win came right on the heels of a hard-fought 8 to 5 loss to Dartmouth Saturday.

The Crimson's next two contests will be played as a double header May 9 against two powerful teams, the New York All-Stars and British Air Force "Wanderers."
