Rock Throwers Break Windows in Dunster

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Vandals last night peppered the front rooms of Dunster House with small rocks, breaking windows in seven suites, including the Lower Common Room and the Senior Tutor's residence. The incidents occurred within 15 minutes of on another at about 9 p.m.

No one in the House saw the rock-throwers, but earlier in the evening Cambridge police had stopped a gang of boys hanging around the Maintenance Building, just below Dunster House on Memorial Drive.

In the past Dunster has been stoned occasionally, but usually the back of the House has been hit, not the river-front rooms.
