Track Men Meet Weak Holy Cross: '56 Faces Exeter

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A strong Crimson track team will go out to add to its string of victories this afternoon when they meet Holy Cross at 1:30 p.m. at Soldiers Field. The out standing freshman squad will journey to Exeter to continue their undefeated indoor and outdoor season.

Holy Cross is not expected to challenge the Crimson's overall power. The only weak spot in the Crimson's lineup currently appears to be in the javelin throw, where Coach Bill McCarthy has not been able to come up with a winning man. The rest of the field events have looked stronger recently with Bob Curran looking especially good in the hammer.

The prep school team might be capable of challenging the Yardlings. They Phillips men have a strong running squad, but do not have field event strength.

Last week the varsity romped over Brown, while the freshmen downed Hope High School and the Bruin freshmen in a triangular meet.
