The History and Literature Department has announced the winners of this year's Sophomore Prize Competition.

They are Eric V. Larsen '55 of Handen, Conn., and Eliot House, and Susan E. Hilles '55 of Springfield, Ill., and Holmes Hall. Herbert Appleman '55 of Brooklyn and Adams House received honorable mention. The prizes of $25 each are to be spent on books. They will be presented in May.
