Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
About a dozen witnesses from the Boston area will testify before the House Un-American Activities Committee in Washington this week, it was learned last night.
Several M.I.T. professors, a suspended elementary school teacher, and a United Press telephoto operator are among those scheduled to appear. It is not known whether there are any Harvard men on the list.
Suspended as Unfit
Max Wietzman, a fifth grade Dorchester school teacher, was suspended last Friday by the Boston School Committee pending final action on the case. The committee termed him an "unfit, undesirable and improper person to teach in the Boston School System."
Theodore S. Polumbaum, the UP man, will appear in connection with the questioning of Daniel Fine, teaching fellow in Medicine.
Chairman Harold H. Velde (R-III) indicated yesterday that his committee will not visit Boston in connection with the present investigation.
The Jenner Senate Subcommittee has, however, announced it will return.
