Today marks the closing date for undergraduate applications for Student Council scholarship grants, varying from $20 to $40. The grants are awarded on the basis of financial need, regardless of scholastic standing.
Paul D. Sheats '54, president of the Student Council, said last night that few applications have been received so far.
The Council will award $800 in grants this semester; no set number of awards has been decided upon. Interested students should apply at the Council office between 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. today.
