Hopelessly soggy grounds at Wellesley's Woodland golf course caused the cancellation of the Crimson's match with Babson Institute yesterday afternoon.
Manager Bob Stiles did not yet know whether the match would be rescheduled for later in the season, but said last night that Friday's meet with M.I.T. will also be postponed.
Team members will hit practice shots today on any dry field they can find, and if any course in town is playable, will fire their first full qualifying rounds tomorrow.
Matches with B.U. and Bowdoin are scheduled for next Tuesday and Wednesday. The team plays 11 events in the space of one month, making rescheduling of the Babson meet unlikely.
