Norm Wyner of Winthrop, who had knocked out all his previous opponents at 145 pounds this year, scored a three round decision over Alvin German of Dudley in the semi-final round of the inter-House boxing trials last night.
The only knockout of the evening was a TKO in the second round scored by Geoffrey Ball of Dunster, at 155, over Frank Wehmeier of Eliot. Also in the 155 George Humphrey of Kirkland topped Harry Manoogian of Winthrop.
Frank Yoffe of Dudley won twice in the unlimited division. At the same weight, Ulysses Shelton of Adams defeated Bertram Newman of Dudley in his first encounter before losing his second fight to Nick Culolias of Dudley.
