WGBH Schedules 12-Man Program On Significance of Stalin's Death

Twelve University experts on Russian affairs will discuss the possible consequences of Stalin's death, tomorrow night on station WGBH.

The Lowell Institute Broadcasting Council Station will transmit the program at 89-7 cycles FM from 6 to 8:30 p.m. this Sunday night.

The experts, most of whom are University faculty members, will be interviewed individually and will give their own views on specific aspects of future Russian policy.

Those participating are Carl J. Friedrich, professor of Government, Merle Fainsod, professor of Government and director of Political Studies at the Russian Research Center, Alex Inkeles and Raymond A. Bauer, co-directors of Research in the Harvard Program on the Soviet Social System at the Russian Research Center, Benjamin I. Schwartz '38, assistant professor of History.

Others are Michael Karpovich, professor of History, Ralph Barton Perry '96. Edgar Pierce Professor of Philosophy, emeritus, Louis Nemzer, research associate in the Russian Research Center, Louis M. Lyons, Curator of Nieman Fellowships, Mark Neuweld, research fellow at the Russian Research Center, Crane Brinton '19, McLain Professor of Ancient and Modern History, and Dr. David D. Rutstein '30, professor of Preventive Medicine at the Medical School.
