Dunster's A basketball team toppled Eliot last night, 35 to 31, to move into a tie with idle Kirkland for the league leadership. John Brophy led the Funsters with eight points.

In the B basketball league, Dunster, sparked by Don Spencer's 12 points, drubbed the Elephants, 45 to 38. The B Funsters now need only a victory over Kirkland to take the league championship.

Divisional play-offs begin tomorrow in the hockey league. Kirkland dropped to the second division as a result of play-offs this week. Dudley, Winthrop, and Kirkland finished the regular season tied for third place, but Dudley beat Kirkland, 4 to 1, last Friday in a special play-off. Then Winthrop topped Dudley 3 to 2 on Monday to take third place in the league.

Eliot Squash Team Wins

Eliot's squash team ran off with three out of four matches against Leverett yesterday in the A league. Adams topped the Dunster A squash team, 3 to 2.

In freshman basketball, Holworthy crushed Grays' championship hopes, 44 to 33, last night in the first play-off of the National League three-way tie. Al Lubetkin led the winners with 13 points. Holworthy meets Matthews South this afternoon to determine the National League champion. The winner will play the American League's top team, Hollis, for the Yard championship later this week.
